Food and Beverage
In the United States, the FDA regulates food exported to the United States through law to protect their citizens from food-borne hazards, and products that meet established standards require FDA approval and registration.
What is FDA's Food and Beverage Registration?
Under the Public Health Safety and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act (Bio-Terrorism Act), the FDA Food & Drug Administration (www.fda.gov) is a food regulatory agency that threatens the U.S. food supply and other food-related emergencies. Or have taken steps to protect the people from real terrorist attacks.

DUNS Number Issuance Support
To proceed with U.S. Food Facility Registration (FFR), obtaining a DUNS Number (Data Universal Numbering System) for business identification is mandatory. The DUNS Number is a unique identifier assigned to each business entity and is used to verify company information in the U.S. FDA registration system as well as in various international certification and regulatory processes.
Food Facility Registration
Domestic and foreign facilities that manufacture, process, pack, or hold food or animal feed for consumption in the United States are required to register with the U.S. FDA. To export food products to the United States, FDA Food Facility Registration must be completed in advance.
Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP)
FSVP requires importers to verify that food products supplied by foreign manufacturers are produced in compliance with U.S. food safety standards. Importers must ensure that imported food and beverages meet FSVP requirements and comply with applicable regulations.
U.S. Agent Service
Foreign facilities intending to manufacture or sell food and beverages in the United States are required to designate a U.S. Agent to proceed with FDA registration. The U.S. Agent acts as a liaison with the FDA on behalf of the company. IGC provides reliable and experienced U.S. Agent services.
